More About antenatal care

Antenatal treatment usually extends upto the last trimester of pregnancy and is marked by regular periodic check ups that focus on every aspect of pregnancy. Our specialist doctors guide the mothers about maternal physiological changes during pregnancy, prenatal nutrition, hormonal changes, perform prenatal screening and diagnosis and closely monitor the growth and progress of the fetus.

The antenatal care comprises of:

ANC Check-up

These are scheduled Antenatal Care check-ups to track baby’s growth in the womb and improve mother’s health. Vital stats of the mother and the baby are checked during these visits and around 10-12 visits are recommended.

ANC Classes

We encourage expecting mothers and their partners to attend antenatal classes to learn more about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting the new baby.

ANC Diet

Our doctors and dieticians suggest a wholesome diet to ensure that the mother and the baby receive maximum nutrition throughout pregnancy.

Our trained physiotherapists assist expecting mothers in dealing with various musculoskeletal changes during pregnancy by suggesting light exercises that provide relief and prevent rigidity and pain.
